A long overdue playdate

We finally got together with Addie and Ford last week. It's hard to believe it took half of the summer to do it. We had planned to swim at Kelly's parents' house but it was pouring down rain that morning. We made a detour to McDonald's for an early lunch and to see what the rain was going to do. The kids were uncontrollably giddy to be together. I think a certain little old lady thought Kelly and I were perfectly awful moms! They just couldn't contain themselves. By the time Kelly and I ate and the kids had a few bites and a lot of laughs the rain had stopped. We went back to the pool and had a good hour and half or so to swim. Grace and Lyla loved their pool. The rain came again that afternoon but just at the right time to give us a reason to get them out of the pool. I didn't take very many pictures but here are the ones I did get. Thank you to Kelly, Addie, and Ford for a great day of play!
