One of our neighbors across the street offered to let us have her daughter's old playhouse if Eric would just get it out of her backyard. We were happy to take it. It was a little bit of a project for Eric though. The base had to be rebuilt because it was rotten and the roof had to be replaced because it was rotten too. The house had been in her backyard for about 8 years she said. So, Eric went to work. This kind of thing is right up his alley. It was pretty dirty too. The girls were eager to play in it so I put them to work cleaning it one day. They had fun with a bucket of soapy water! I'm going to repaint it soon and make it really cute. I haven't decided exactly how I'm going to paint it yet. It needs a little TLC but it makes a cute addition to our little backyard.
