It's official! The real kindergarten has finally begun and Grace is now a "real" kindergartener! She got on the bus for the first time this morning. We are lucky to live right next door to two little girls that also ride the bus. They were very sweet and asked Grace if she wanted to sit with them. They also have a very nice bus driver named Mr. Tom. She rides the "orange" bus. She gets on at 8:10am and school starts at 8:30am. So, she's only on the bus for about 10 minutes. I think she is almost the last stop before the bus gets to school and one of the first to get off after school. School is over at 3:30pm and she gets off the bus on our street at 3:49pm! So, she doesn't have to be on there very long at all. Just enough to give her the experience and me the peace of mind that she'll be OK. She will actually get home quicker by the bus then if I sat in the car rider pick-up line to get her after school. Plus, it's nice that I don't have to get Reesi and Lyla in the van to take Grace to school.

It cracks me up that those girls' backpacks are almost bigger than the girls are.
Yeah! Bus is cool & ez! Addie cannot wait until her 1st field trip to ride herself! See you tomorrow at preschool! Ford can't wait!
