Author's Tea

Grace's teacher had an Author's Tea for the parents the last week of school. Each child picked out one of their own writings from the year to read to the audience. They stood up one at a time, introduced themselves and read their story with a microphone. It was very cute and a great opportunity to learn to speak in front of an audience. Then the children served the adults cookies and lemonade. Grace had a great teacher this year. Her reading and writing has improved a TON this year!
