We had our Life Group Christmas party at Joni's house this year. Lyla took this picture of us. I thought it was pretty good. Unfortunately, Joni was putting Elye to bed when we took it and she didn't want us to do it over just for her. We are blessed to have great friends in our life group and we cherish our time with them. 
A few nights later, we got together with friends from our past life group. We ate yummy food and walked to Lipscomb to see their Christmas lights. The girls rode in these fun riding toys. Lyla asked for one of these Lightning cars all season from Santa. Santa did not bring her one this year. Hopefully, she's not too disappointed. She hasn't even mentioned at this point so I think we're OK. She would have loved it though. Anyway, we had a good time with these sweet friends too. I wish I would have gotten a group picture that night.
