Grace and Lyla have two elves that come to visit each year before Christmas. This year the girls kept forgetting to write a letter to Santa asking for their elves to come. So, the Friday before Christmas I had the girls write their letter. The next morning we couldn't find the elves but there was a note from them on the table. Evidently, Santa wanted to give the girls a trampoline this year but it was not going to fit on his sleigh on Christmas Eve. So, he sent it with his elves that night. Below is Grace's note to Santa and then the note the elves left the next morning.

So, we went outside to find the elves. One was in the driver's seat of the van "driving" and the other one was in the back trying to lift the big box. The girls were really excited. They were a little stunned I think. The hard part was not being able to jump immediately though. Eric and I then spent the majority of the day putting the trampoline up. It was about 32 degrees outside and misting rain. It was freezing! But, after about a total of 4 hours, the trampoline was ready for jumping. The girls were very patient waiting for us to finish. They just played and watched cartoons inside. They did keep opening the windows to yell at us and ask if we were almost done. They love it! I'm hoping this will provide lots of entertainment for a long time to come! Of course, they were doing front flips within about 30 minutes! Please pray for no broken bones!

I think I'm loving ours as much as the kids!
