I took several pictures while we were in Rockport for Thanksgiving this year. Here are my favorites....
The first thing the girls wanted to do when we arrived at Mimi and Papoo's was ride the Gator and their bikes. We took their bikes with us this year because Lyla was excited to show everyone how she can ride without training wheels now.
My Grandma and Grandpa Galloway were there as well. They brought their puppy, Sunshine. Grace loved playing with Sunshine the entire weekend.
Sunshine and Sophie, Mimi and Papoo's young golden retriever loved playing with each other. They rolled around "biting" each other until Grandma would cut in and take Sunshine away to calm down.

Here is one of Grace and Lyla's favorite things to do at Papoo's farm, the tire swing. Papoo pushes them for as long as they want and whenever they want.
Eric went hunting while we were there. Here he is decked out in his gear.
Eric took a few pictures while he was out hunting on Papoo's farm. These are the best two pics.
Here are the girls riding their bikes at Grandma and Papaw Gardner's house.
Jim and Peggy worked all day to feed a houseful of people that evening.
Grace and Lyla enjoyed playing with their cousin Danielle...
and their Aunt Laura.
Here we are back at Mimi and Papoo's house for Thanksgiving day. Grandma Galloway gave Grace new earrings for Christmas and she was very excited to put her new earrings in right away.
Papoo's birthday is always the week of Thanksgiving. The girls were with me when I bought him a birthday card. Lyla immediately spotted this Harley Davidson card for Papoo in the card aisle and insisted on giving it to him. It was one that makes noise when you open it. It makes a motorcycle noise. The card read "Have a happy birthday" on the outside and "Bad Ass" on the inside!!! Lyla thought it was a great card! I never told her what it said.
Papoo enjoys giving lots of rides on the buggy when everyone is at the farm. Sophie just lays across his lap and rides along too. Here he is giving Lyla and our cousin Kollan a ride.
The pool table provides entertainment as well.

After lunch Joni and Larry went to a Christmas tree farm to tag a tree for them to take back to Nashville. We all went along for fun. Lyla found a hole in the ground and proudly posed for the camera in the hole. Yes, she is wearing her Lightning McQueen pj's. She wore them for two straight days!
Here are a couple cute pics I got while at the Christmas tree farm.

Your girls are adorable, I love Lyla's personality...you can tell it through the pics! We go to Ahren's Christmas Tree Farm every year and get our tree, my boys love it there! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
